This is glitched in a good way. Go to Spotlight 23 (as of 11/1/22) and make sure you have some gold cards. Go into the set and search your collection and it will pop without even redeeming it. Do you not use autofill it only pops when using search.
*You need to have a TRADEABLE/PURCHASABLE gold card. This is a card NOT from a free pack. Just buy a gold card in the auction house and you will be fine.
I would take advantage of this as soon as you can, because to get one of these cards the normal way is a lot more effort and time.

Still works as of 11-16-2022! I had to just a card I bought off the auction house, none of the traceable cards I got with the X-Factor Edition seemed to count.

I can't seem to get it. I don't understand HUT very well but I bought a gold card from the auction house , an untradeable one, and I go to spot light 23 and search my collection and I see all my cards show up, including the one I just bought. Am I missing something?

I just bought another gold tradeable card from the auction house, Steven stamkos if it matters , and then I go to sets, spotlight 23 , and go to search my collection, then my cards pop up including stamkos, but no achievement. Am I missing something?

I tried the above method. Even bought like 6 gold cards and still didn't unlock. Anyone know if it's been patched since? Or if the card has to have a certain value ect?
Edit 30/04/23 - So I bought another 3 gold cards, also earnt a base pack (untradeable) went in and tried again and it popped

Worked for me today. July 9, 2023.
Couple things Anthony forgot to mention for those not familiar with NHL menus.
1) Head to Hockey Ultimate Team
2) RB over EXCHANGE tab
3) d pad right to SETS, press A to enter
4) d pad right over to HUT SPOTLIGHT 23, A to enter
5) A to enter HUT SPOTLIGHT the first collectable set
6) A again to enter the first EVENT COLLECTABLE (UNTRADEABLE) set (yes again)
7) select A and search collection and a list of cards to "trade" should appear and Achievement will pop. Dont submit any cards and back out.
Nice and easy but you can get lost like I said, if not familiar, with EA'S stupid menus.
