How to unlock the Someone get that kid the puck! achievement in NHL 24 - Definitive Guide

Mostly a self explanatory achievement: you have to score your first career goal in the NHL regular season with your created player in Be A Pro mode. It can't be in any other league nor can it be during the NHL's preseason.

You can adjust rules and gameplay sliders in Be A Pro to make scoring as easy as possible for you.

Unlike last year's game, this appears to not be glitched and will always unlock during your first regular season game where you score. Last year's you sometimes had to play multiple games before it popped.

Once again this appears to be glitchy: it might take multiple games before this unlocks but if you're going for Greatness or Golden Years you'll have AMPLE opportunities to get this.

Not sure it's fixed, I'm 10 games in with 12 goals and still hasn't popped.

It HAS to be regular season. Make sure you sim through pre season or it will glitch on you

I scored a hat trick so indeed this achievement is glitched because you should get it right away instead of having to go deep into the be a pro regular season.
