An assist is when you pass the puck to a player and that player scores. The player that passed the puck will get an assist. Simply do this ten times in any game mode.

An assist is counted when your player scores immediately after recieving a pass from another player. You can get a maximum of two assists per goal (pass > pass > goal) as long as three players are involved.

You can check on your progress by selecting Features > Trophy Room and pressing Y to see stats.
