How to unlock the Joe Thornton achievement in NHL 2K9 - Definitive Guide

Joe Thorton is on the Canada National Team and also on the San Jose Sharks. You can use the 2 controller method for this. Make sure Jumbo Joe passes to another player and have them shoot on an empty goal (3x), then have the former MVP score goals himself, to get the PIMs you can to get it by hooking from behind by using the Y button (2x) or if you turn up the fighting you can get this with one fight.

Joe Thornton can be found on the Canadian National team. You will need 2 goals, 3 assist and 4 PIMs. Use the second controller method and pull the other team's goalie to score the two goals. Pass a lot to try for the assists. For the PIM follow the method for 500 PIMs. This has to be done in a single game.
