Don't think too hard on this one. Just set "Per. Length" to 20 minutes and WIN against a COMPUTER to get this achievement. I was trying to be a smart one thinking outside the box that 3x 10 minute period would get me 30 minutes total which is greater than 20 minutes listed in the achievement description...

I had the same thinking but after turning the 20 minute periods on it made sense. Even the 20 minute periods aren't actually 20 minutes so yeah 20 minute period is actually a 20 minute game.

Wasted 20 minutes of RL time playing 2 games at the "Per. Length" 10 minutes when I could've just bitten the bullet and played the full 20

. Ended up at least 40 minutes total for this stinking achievement

I din't get it. So a 10 min game which is 3 periods of 10 mins = 30 min is enough ?

@ThreeSixNoScop3 - No. You need to set it to Per. Length 20 minutes = 20 real minutes.

I tried to combine this with the one for winning with penalties and manual line changes on. Don't do that. All the clock-stopping and face-offs will make the game drag on foreeeeever... just get this one done on it's own, and do the other one with 5 minute periods. You'll spend less time overall.

this is a good game to get some practice scoring goals. I practiced against New Jersey and by the end had a 20 goal adv. I also got the achievement for line changes and penalties being on. You have so much time to make up for little mistakes. I went afk for the last period.

Just did this and had all 3 top line forwards get a hat trick. No achievements. Typical of scumbag EA.
