How to unlock the God of War achievement in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Prince's Edition - Definitive Guide
As far as I am aware you CANNOT repeat skirmishes already completed to get this. I had 68 Skirmishes Won (from Vital Statistics) when this popped for me. Right after I completed Invaders in Evermore VII. Easy way to go about it is to open the map then zoom out one time. Then just search the map for any flags that have no check mark.
The only mission I struggled on was Protecting the Survey Corps (lvl 30) in Permafrost plains. You'll have to sacrfice one Tent and then try and bait both forces to fight in the middle away from the tents.
For a full list on all the Skirmishes and how to unlock them (some require side quest completion) Steam has a guide. Credit to Distance of Shadows.

Any tips on how to get this one done? I'm stuck on getting getting Evermore VI to spawn.
I finished Evermore I-V, completed the story, finished all sidequests, upgraded all buildings in Evermore.
Things I have tried:
-Finished all Heartland skirmishes around Evermore until they didn't respawn anymore, then proceeded to reload around 500+ times to try and spawn skirmish VI.
-Fight random battles around Evermore.
-Fight other skirmishes on other islands.
-Double check with a checklist for completion of other skirmishes.
-Travel to other cities both inside and world map multiple times.

Unsure. I completed a skirmish and then went to check if it spawned. If it did not then I kept trying. There are many skirmishes you can replay infinitly. Replay one, beat it, check if it spawned, find another one, beat it etc. I wouldn't relaod the game. I'll update it if I ever come across something.

There are 50 unique skirmishes in this game, and for this achievement you'll need to beat them all. Some skirmishes can be replayed, these will have a blue glow around them instead of the normal yellow, they also appear on the map with a checkmark next to them. I suggest not replaying skirmishes that you've already beat, that way you can check the Vital Statistics area to see an accurate count of how many of the 50 skirmishes you've done, also they won't count towards your 50. (Note: there isn't a list in game that tells you which specific skirmishes you've already completed.) You can see a full list of skirmishes here, he even provides a link to a spreadsheet so that you can mark off skirmishes as you do them.
Some skirmishes are tied to story to progression, some to side quests, and some just appear on the map. The ones that aren't tied to anything aren't always there, you can load in and out of areas or do other skirmishes for a chance to make different ones appear. For the Evermore skirmishes, I would travel to the world map at Evermore and check for skirmishes before going into the kingdom to manage it. There wasn't always a new skirmish when I did this, but it was easier to do it this way since I was constantly making trips to Evermore to manage the kingdom.
Some General Tips
When the gut gauge is full (ring around Evan's picture) you can press to activate shock tactic. This will restore health/revive all your units. It also gives you a temporary power boost.
During skirmishes, you can hold to run, this is great for fleeing from battle, or to get to distant objectives quicker. This will use up the might gauge, bar below Evan's picture, but it recharges over time.
Early game I found myself using all my KingGuilders for my kingdom, but late game I had plenty to spare, so I would always use those KG to bolster my forces to make skirmishes easier.
When you're able to, you can build the Evermore Barracks in your kingdom and research topics that will help you out in skirmishes. I believe once you get your kingdom to level 2, you'll be able to build the Evermore Elite Barracks, this will give you access to more research topics that will help in skirmishes.
Tips for specific skirmishes
Survey Party Protection - Found in Jack Frost's Playground
You fail this mission if the enemies manage to destroy both camps.
The first wave isn't bad, neither is the second wave, but things are a bit trickier in the third and final set of enemies. There are two different groups of units, a group with wyverns spawns where you are and a group with a big guy spawns near the camps. I stayed where I was and took care of the Wyverns as quickly as I could (spear troops are strong against these enemies). Then I held to quickly get to the other group. If they've managed to take out one of the camps, then go over to hit and hold to repair it, then work on taking out the enemies. As long as one of the camps is still up, you can keep going, just make sure to rebuild a camp if it goes down.
Bag that Brute Bruce! - Rolling Hills
You fail this mission if you fail to get Bruce in time. This mission is long and you do not have time to fight everything, just hold and sprint past everything you can. You'll have to stop at times and let your troops take out the wooden barricades blocking your path, but don't bother with the other enemies or structures if you can help it.
Criminal Capture: Bandit Gang - Calmlands
For this mission, you have to catch Gordo before he gets away. For this mission, I was only able to do it while using a unit with Deafening Roar, this stops units from moving, though not for long. I personally used Jared's Covert Ops Unit Omega (a shield unit). You'll play through the first part normally, taking out everything. You'll go through a gate, where again you'll need to take out all the enemies (I would advise being near the gate when you take out the last enemy here). Next is where you need to move, Gordo will make a beeline for the exit, so you have to chase after him and take him out before he gets there, make sure to make use of that deafening roar skill to stop him in his tracks, though it only seems to last for a moment.
For the skirmishes related to side quests 31, 90, and 147, you will likely need to start the labyrinth DLC. lucylu1983 posted in the forums that at some point the guest giver Chingis disappears, and you'll need to go into the labyrinth to get him to reappear in your kingdom to get these quests.

I did most of the skirmishes late into the game. For the first several skirmishes, I stuck with the first four units I came across. Eventually, I swapped them all out and used Grimm, sword unit (you won't be able to get him until ch 9, he unlocks from side quest 132), Callianeira, shield unit (also becomes available in ch 9, side quest 124), Speio, magic unit (available during ch 6, side quest 051), and Chip, spear unit (available during ch 7, side quest 72).
Good luck and happy hunting.
