You will very likely get this through natural progression. Tainted enemies are enemies that have a purple aura around them, you won't trigger the encounter normally.
It will give you a prompt when trying to encounter saying the name and level of the enemy as some are very high leveled, I didn't kill the first one I encountered as it was too strong, I got the achievement as part of side quest #4 which requires you to kill one.
