How to unlock the Blimey! achievement in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 - Definitive Guide

easy way i got this was using Aang and repeatedly spamming cn_LSr + cn_B or cn_LSl + cn_B fire move, depending on which way your opponent is facing. you can hold down cn_B so the attack hits harder and knocks them back farther, the ai will continuously walk into you while you're charging the move so once you hit them once its just about getting into a rhythm. boss battles i used cn_LSu + cn_B along with the previous move as it was easier to hit flying dutchman without being on the same platform as him, along with jumping around (cn_Y) to avoid certain projectiles. continues don't void the achievement.

Do not worry about it being only 1 stock it will allow you to use a continue if you happen to lose and that will not void your achievement!!!

I cannot tell you which character to use because it will always be a personal preference type of thing in a fighting game, but personally my favorite characters are Rocko, Patrick, Aang, and Korra. General tips are to obviously look at the move sets so you can know which moves to use or you can button mash if you want. Another tip is to use edge guard mechanics similar to smash. If you do not know what that is I will do my best to explain haha. Basically the more the percentage goes up the more and enemy will be able to be sent off screen eliminating them. Usually you need to get the percentages pretty high, but you can do something called edge guarding. You will hit the enemy off a ledge using a powerful attack such as charging your power hit (Holding B button for most characters if not all). Then you want to keep attacking them either hitting them off to the side or using a downward attack to "spike" them downwards into the abyss. All maps will have some sort of edge to use, and that is how I win most of my normal fights.

The Arcade Stages are always going to pre set battles chosen at random whenever you start an arcade but you will always need to do 11 rounds. The matches will be a mix of 1v1, 2v1, and 2v2 (although most battles that are 2v1 are not in your favor besides Stage 5). There is also randomly one 3v1 matchup. I would say rounds you can pick always try to pick the team events as I find them easier although if you would rather do 1v1s pick those or pick characters you would rather fight (I will detail some of the options below). I have played around 20 arcade sessions and have not seen any other matchups but will edit if I do.

Enemies will be in parenthesis although make sure to look at the icon as some (mainly the TMNT characters will switch around in the 1v1 settings)

1v1 matches: The Ghost Zone (Danny Phantom), Techno Brawl (Raphael TMNT), Presenting: Nature (Nigel), Just Five More Minutes (Garfield), Wacky Grandma (Grandma Gertie), Attack of the Irken Empire (Zim), Oh Boy It's 3AM (Patrick), Ninja Training (Raphael TMNT), Hardcore Heavy Metal (Jenny), Clarinet Lessons (Squidward), Trip to the Spirit World (Korra or Aang), Pizza Night (Donatello or April), Time to Invent (Jimmy), Pinata Party (El Tigre), The Coolest Kid of the Neighborhood (Gerald), Culinary Masters (Ren and Stimpy), Rocko's Typical Tuesday (Rocko), Firebending Lessons (Azula), Breaking News! (April), Frycook Games (Spongebob), Earth Kingdom (Azula), Green Lizard (Reptar), Return of Sheldon (Plankton), Building a Dam (Angry Beavers), Ghostly Rock Show (Ember)

2v1 matches: Deep Sea Pirates (Garfield and Ember), Hillwood's Aquarium (Grandma Gertie and Gerald), Caped Costumes (El Tigre and Lucy Loud), Royal Guard (Nigel and Gerald), Dream Team (Gerald and Lucy Loud), Pizza Night (Donatello), Plaid Shirt Team (Rocko and Angry Beavers), Karate Team (Jimmy and Grandma Gertie), Cozy Sweater Team (Garfield and Nigel), Galactic Patrol (Ren & Stimpy and Angry Beavers), Secret Beret Club (Rocko and Squidward), Return of the Super Heroes (Patrick and Jimmy)

2v2 matches: Superheroes Unite with El Tigre (SpongeBob and Patrick), Crazy Hats Team with Nigel (El Tigre and Squidward), Krusty Krab's Employees with Patrick (Squidward and Spongebob), Metal Heads with Ember (Donatello and Raphael), Avatar Hunt with Azula (Aang and Korra)

3v1 match: Beaver party (3 angry beavers)

Set Stages
Stage 3: Bonus Minigame for popping slime balloons, you can play it for the other achievements or just wait out the timer it will not fail you.
Stage 5: Kaiju Battle (Big Reptar vs you and lil Reptar) Krusty Krab v Chum Bucket (Big Mecha Plankton v you and Squidward) These are normal fights just the big enemy will not fly as far away. To make up for this they struggle to recover so just try to get them off the ledges as quickly as possible.
Stage 7: Boss Battle: Shredder, King Jellyfish, Sartana De Los Muertos, Flying Dutchman
Stage 9: Bonus Minigame Whack-A-Bot, you can play if you want I just walk off the screen normally because that minigame is not v fun to me
Stage 11: This will ALWAYS be a boss fight against Vlad from Danny Phantom

Lastly Boss Tips: Flying Dutchman is the easiest because he spawns barrels you can throw at him. Besides that all bosses will have a similar set of attacks that are similar to charging you, throwing projectiles, and raining down projectiles. Vlad also has annoying attack with a doppelganger. During these fights I would focus on using my jump, double jump, and recovery move (holding the left stick up and diagonal the direction you wish to go while pressing X). During this I would use my basic A attack while also learning the moves for the bosses. Then when I could safely attack I would use my B button attack either using upwards or downwards attacks in order to defeat the boss. I think the biggest thing to worry about is just remembering losing your stock does not mean you need to restart at the beginning of the arcade so do not be afraid to get aggressive to limit the damage that can be done to you.

This is probably the hardest achievement in the game. You only get a single stock for each fight, so you need to beat each Hard CPU without dying.

I actually found most fights not that bad at all. All of the regular fights, I used the same strategy for just playing like normal: stay still, charge up a smash hit (toward the opponent and button-b.png) until they approached me, and smash them when they get close. I just repeated that for all regular fights, even the uneven ones. Just get the opponents on the same side of you and keep smashing in that direction.

The boss fights can be tougher. I had no problem with giant Mech Plankton, but I'm assuming it's randomized in terms of which bosses you get. I got Flying Dutchmen, who was a massive pain, but I found the final boss, Lord Plasmius, to be the worst of them all. I recommend attempting this run with someone quick and mobile, because I did it with Plankton and struggled quite a bit with the final boss. I probably died 10-15 times before finally beating him. You'll get to learn his attacks, and figure out when to jump over his attacks and when to just attack him. Like usual, I'd get close and ideally get behind him, then wail away with button-b.png attacks over and over until he moved or I had to move. When he spawns the octopus enemy thing, that's when things get really annoying because you have to worry about it interrupting your attacks. Hopefully you get lucky and the octopus enemy stays on the same side of you as the boss, so you can hit them both at the same time. Otherwise, you'll need to stay on the move to avoid both opponents.

Once you finally beat the final boss, you'll unlock the toughest achievement in the game.
