If you use multiple controllers, each character counts. Therefore, you can pop this in 5 games with 4 controllers, just pick different characters every time. Easy peasy.

Doesn’t unlock for me, I’ve played with all characters I don’t get it.

I set the game to one stock, jellyfish fields and if you want you can set the cpu to lvl 0. I went left to right on each row of characters and it popped. Very easy to do.

This will need to be done with the standard 20 brawlers. You don't need to win. You can set the stock to 1 in the settings and just jump off the screen to lose. Using this method, this trophy shouldn't take you more than a few minutes.

Local battles consist of Stock, Timed, or Sports matches. You're going to need to play some local battles to unlock achievements for beating level 9 CPUs, and for winning Sports matches, but I don't recommend combining this achievement with those. Those are the only real skill based achievements in the game, so use your best characters for them. You're going to need to grind out local battles for GO NINJA GO!!! (90G) anyway, so it's best to combine this achievement with that one. Refer to its description for the quickest way to grind it out, including how to incorporate this achievements into its grind.
