Does the idle controller have to be signed in? It lets you play multiplayer without everyone being signed in.
Edit: It was delayed as I came back to try to finish the Expert GPs and it popped as soon as the game was loading. Did it without 2nd player being signed in and the achievement doesn't show progress but thankfully didn't need the tracker site. Thumbs up from me, but you may want to add that this can have a delayed unlock.
