This is the first achievement you should start "working on", in this game. The most important part of this achievement, to get it as quickly as possible, is to make sure before you start, to set the game to 3 inning games. The game by default is set to 5 inning matches, so not changing this setting makes the achievement take almost twice as long to get. I recommend starting the game going for this achievement, load up the achievement list on this site, and work on the achievement list starting from the bottom. Once you've won the tournament, you should have most of the achievements, and will just have to focus on the card collection and the 9 inning specific achievements.
