Once you unlock side quests (after the first boss), the person who gives you this quest is sitting on crates as you enter the shopping area of your village, opposite a fountain.
Once you have accepted this side quest, it's time to go hunt the boar in the northern plains!
The boar is located near the entrance to the aerie. He has a lot of health, but this means more opportunity for hits and the good news is you can stun him, so target him, start swinging your sword at him and when he grunts, hit him with a dark lance - this will stun him. Keep swinging your sword until he grunts again and then hit him with another dark lance and repeat until dead.
I worked this out after already attacking him but I ended up with a combo of 160 by the time I beat him on hard difficulty, so if you do this successfully in one combo on normal difficulty or higher you should also unlock this achievement:

Once you have beaten the boar, return to the village to return your quest - the reward is you can now ride boars! Go into the aerie and then back out to the northern plains and you should see a boar and no enemies around. Hop on the boar with
and then just sit still for 5 minutes - no need to go anywhere as if you fall off the boar (from crashing or getting attacked) it will reset the 5 minutes, so don't take the risk.
Achievement unlocked!

You need to ride a Boar for consecutive 5 Minutes. You're able to just stand still whilst on a boar, just make sure no enemies are around as they can knock you off the boar.
The, Pants, Party
To be able to ride boar's, first complete the "Board Hunt!" quest in Nier's village. After that you'll be able to hop on the sleeping boars in the Plains areas. You don't need to actually ride anywhere on one, just mount it and sit still for five miniutes to unlock the achievement.
Velvet
You'll need to complete the Side Quest "Boar Hunt" in Part One of the game before you can do this trophy. The old man you pick the quest up from is in the Village. He's on the left side sitting on a crate as soon as you enter the town (from the Church side). Once you've completed the quest, you'll be able to ride Boars, which will make traveling about much quicker (until you get your fast travel boat, of course).
There will be a Boar located in the Northern and Southern Plains, just by their entrances/exits to other locations. To ride the Boar, walk up to it and press
. From here, you can just kick it for 5 minutes or actually ride around. If you decide to ride around, try not to use your dash so you don't accidentally run into a wall and fly off the Boar. If you decide to just idle the game, make sure you're tucked away from any Shades that might be roaming around so they don't knock you off.
All 5 minutes must be done in one go, so as soon as the clock hits 5 minutes, the trophy will unlock.
