How to unlock the Scourge of The Aerie achievement in NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... - Definitive Guide
Wendy is the big ball boss with an eye in the middle you are required to shoot available in the 2nd part of the game (When adult) in the Aerie.
You can do this first playthrough but i'd recommend doing it on your 2nd playthrough or higher.
As soon as the boss spawns charge your Dark Lance to max and just before firing pop a Magic drop for double magic damage. Then spam your Dark Blast until the boss turns.
Sprint to the other side following the bridges and past Kaine and use dark lance behind him again. Popping a magic drop at the end. Repeating this should get the achievement quite easily especially on a second playthrough as you can defeat Wendy much faster here.

It's recommended you wait to do this trophy until you're working on Endings C or D, or wait until after you've completed Ending E since you'll get a super OP weapon from that run.
Wendy is the boss you'll fight against after Popola asks you to check on the Aerie in Part Two. Compared to the other fights, this one will require a lot of moving around. The fight will start as soon as she appears (you'll fight a few smaller enemies just before she does). You'll be using your spells/magic attacks for this fight and very little weapon attacks (outside of the scrub enemies that try to get in your way). Wendy is just a large orb with a single eye that you need to attack. She has void tentacles surrounding her that will act as a shield for her eye, so only attack her when you have an opening. Roughly halfway through the fight, Emil and Weiss will cue you to move to a "higher area" as she moves away from the original platform. Make your way up the scaffoling as if you were going up to the chief's house, then shoot Wendy from the bridge. You'll need to kill some trash mobs along the way, but they should be pretty quick to take out.
After she reaches roughly 25% HP, Wendy will move down to the first platform you cross when you enter the Aerie. You can go around or just jump off on to it (if you jump, be sure to double jump or dash right before you hit it so you don't take any damage). Continue using your magic attacks/spells to burn her down the rest of the way.
As with the other fights, skip any cutscenes that pop up and when you've defeated her (and are within the required time limit), the trophy will unlock.

The boss from the second half of the game, The Aerie location, where Popola sent you. You'll have 8.5 minutes to kill this giant flying ball, but that's really not that long.
THERE IS A NUANCE!
The trophy does not drop immediately after defeating the boss, but after the final cut-scene, “text quest” and dialogue with companions. ALL THIS GOES INTO THE TIMER COUNT. I recommend watching all the cutscenes and reading the text first, then rebooting and defeating the boss a second time, but skipping the cutscenes and clicking through the quest. I did just that myself - I got the trophy for the second time.

In addition to the tip above:
As soon as half of the boss's health is taken away and he stops reacting, without waiting for Emil's help, immediately run to the upper bridge leading to the golden house, where the boss needs to remove another 25% of HP, after which we immediately run back a little and jump onto the bridge below and run to the first platform at the save point, where we finish off the boss.
