How to unlock the The Sheep Whisperer achievement in NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... - Definitive Guide

Sheep are available to kill in the first half of the game (when you're using younger Nier). They can be found in the Northern Plains and you'll pass them a healthy amount of times just going back and forth. Their "harvest" item is Mutton which can be sold or turned in for a repeatable quest. You'll need to complete this in the first half (as the NPC that shows up in the second half holds a quest that allows you to kill sheep but does NOT count towards your count as in the Original). In the second half, the sheep will be completely replaced with the mini shades. While going for the achievement, you can just kill all the sheep you see everytime you move through the area to just add to the count, this should get you to 100. You can also use "Order -> Animals -> Call" and it should call the sheep to you. Then leave the area then go back (as in load into another area then go back) and they'll respawn.

If you do miss it or don't have a save from that section, you can do it when you play through Pt. One again for Ending E

Hope this helps!

Worth pointing out that quest for the lady at the fountain in Nier's village who wants you to collect 10 mutton can be repeated over and over so it's worth looting the sheep you kill.

So the animals on the way to the desert doesn't count? Because they are also available if you are grown up.

I believe the animals on the Eastern Road are goats not sheep.

Here is a faster method to do this: In the 2nd part of the game, there is a guard on the east side of the northern plains that gives you a quest where you ride a boar and receive 100g for every sheep you kill. I cannot confirm myself that those kills count towards the achievement, but I'm gonna guess they do. Also, you can repeat it as many times as you want, so don't worry about missing this achievement in the first part of the game.

The quest does NOT count towards the sheep kill count. They did in the original but not in this one.

Sheep spawn in the northern plains, which is the first area you will go to from the town. You can do this very early but they might take a couple of hits. It would be faster when you level up a bit and get magic so you can shoot them at a distance then loot them. Also note that some quests require wool and mutton so don't sell any of it as you'll likely need it later.

Slaughter 100 sheep. you can only do this achievement in the first section of the game ( boy Nier). if you missed it just start a new save and pop in and out after clearing all the sheep. it takes roughly around 20m max to get it.

*MISSABLE*

Sheep are found in plenty in the Northern Plains area, but only during the first half of the game. Once you have transitioned into the second half, they stop spawning. Kill any sheep you see each time you pass through this area and it should unlock naturally. Otherwise you can farm it by leaving the Plains and returning to respawn more.

You monster.

The Sheep are located in the Northern Plains. There will be far more in Part One compared to Part Two, but that's only because the Shades slowly but surely take every other, so it's best to get this trophy done and over with as early as possible. When you first start the game, the Sheep will take 2-3 hits, but in not too much time, you'll be able to one shot them. If you're looking to hit them with your sword, don't sneak up behind them. If they're peeking backwards and you get too close, they'll give you a face full of hoof and send you flying backwards, giving you just cause to murder them.

Every time you leave the area and re-enter, the sheep will respawn. You'll make your way through the Northern Plains quite a handful of times as you progress through the story, so just be sure to kill them each time you pass by and you'll have this trophy in no time.
