I'm not sure if it is mandatory but I refused to help him first and then I accepted. For the lies I chose "stolen phone", "long lost friend" and "wierd guy that followed him". The achievement should unlock at the end of the conversation.

Ok i chose those options but didn't initially refuse to help him so that might be it. I'll try it tomorrow and update if it works.

I didnt refuse him and got the cheevo! so its buggy but you're on the right track!

I didn't refuse and choosed the famous singer instead of long lost friend. No achievement.
