How to unlock the Clear special mission achievement in Ninety-Nine Nights - Definitive Guide

This stage unlocks after beating every single stage of every single character in the game. It opens up a final stage for the Inphyy character.

It's not worth attempting this stage unless you are level 9 already, or have over 190,000 points in which case you will level up to level 9 before reaching the boss of the stage.

* Seraph butterfly attack is only available at level 9 and it drains your orb guage (jump with A and then press A and then Y when in mid-air).
* The deadly armband is key to this tactic as this prevents your orb gauge from draining.
* Only attack the overlord when he is on the ground using the Seraph Butterfly attack, when he is in the air the attack appears to cause no damage.

I only obtained the Deadly Armband on this stage, I had to equip Clover Leaf 2 along with the Divine Tiara and after a few unsuccesful plays through the level eventually one of the Creatures of the Night dropped the Deadly Armband.

Personally, I had equipped the Level 7 Prominence blade, the Knight's Emblem, Life Globe 3, Deadly Ring, Divine Tiara and Deadly Armband and managed to beat the overlord first go once obtaining the armband.

As a note there are 4 sub-areas on the map, don't bother with the top-right area as there are some seargent level baddies which take a long time to kill, I only took out the two left-side areas and still obtained a A grade, without even scoring a combo much above 300.

On a side note to your note, you can kill everyone in all 4 subareas and only take another minute. On a second playthrough, or the one you get the deadly armband in, equip it and spam the Butterfly move on the sergeants. Worked for me and i got an S on the first playthrough.

Yeah it's the deadly armband, I've corrected my solution. Once you have picked it up it stays in your inventory, so don't go reloading your game just because you died. You may have to play through the level several times until it is dropped. Make sure you have a spare slot in your inventory.

This boss is really glitchy. Twice in a row, he gets stuck in the animation where he is creating a vacuum and you cannot hurt him and his move will not end. Both times with his health down to 10%, the third time around, I avoided attacking him during this animation and killed him just fine.

To get this, like in the other guide, you should be lvl 9 already before attempting this. I skipped all the areas before the boss. i got the blue special attack and used it to kill half. I attempted this level twice, both times the deadly armband dropped. After you equip it, i killed the rest of the small guys so they wouldnt get in the way and just started using the AAY attack till he died.

Even though i hardly killed anything i still got an S rank.

The special mission is Inphyy’s final mission against the king of nights. To unlock this secret mission, you must beat the game with every single character than load up Inphyy’s file. Once that has been done, look under Ywa-Ue-Uar and there should be a mission called “Another World”.

Beating the King of Nights can be fairly difficult if you don’t know what you’re doing. First things first, if you can’t beat it, keep killing yourself and eventually the difficulty will be lowered. If you look at the loading screen it should show “Mission Name – Level #” (the # states the difficulty. Lower the number the easier it is). Now, what you should do is make sure Inphyy is level 9 because you need the Seraph Butterfly move. After you’ve become level 9, start the mission and zip through the middle using the  to dash. Don’t stop to fight the army of night or branch off and do other things. There’s no point as it would consume too much time. If you have time to spare might as well do it. Once you’ve reached the king of nights, you will see Goblins and Trolls fighting him with an insane amount of army of night soldiers surrounding him. This is definitely a good thing (because of red orbs). What you want to do is make sure that your orb gauge is full, than press  and than  to pull of Seraphs butterfly. You have to make sure he’s standing on the ground and not flying because if he’s flying than it won’t work at ALL. It could take anywhere from 3-7 hits to finish him off. If you’re lucky you’ll find the armband that allows for no orb consumption while using deadly attacks. Also, make sure if you see those silver balls flying at you, Dash and don’t stop because they hurt you real bad. Keep Seraph Butterflying while the king of nights is on the ground and you should finish in no time. It’s not a difficult task at all once you get the hang of seraphs butterfly. You can also use your orb spark and it’ll do a very nice amount of damage to him.
