How to unlock the Reach the highest level achievement in Ninety-Nine Nights - Definitive Guide

The description should read as complete every mission as a level 9 character.
You need to reach level 9 with all the characters and then complete all the missions.
YOU DO NOT have to repeat the mission on which the character reaches level 9, and you must keep a seperate save for each character.
Generally the final mission is the best one for leveling up.

I would just like to add (and im doing this to both solutions since its on neither) if you accidentally overwrite a save (i accidentally replaced Inphyys with Asphars) if you had already done the achievement requirements with her, you don't need them again. I popped this achievement with saves for everyone except Inphyy. So you only have to do them once, and save after.

So I've played through the game again after leveling all characters to 9........no achievement. Kinda had a feeling this would happen. Not sure what I could be missing.

Yeah every character all the way through they're campaigns. Even made sure I got a A or higher the second time around, very confused.

Mine popped without the secret mission. I did each character at a time so I got Inphyy to lvl 9 and replayed all her missions and rank A/S for each level. I got this without even attempting the secret mission

Got it! It seems to me that when I was redoing the missions I passed straight through one of the character "Myifee", one that uses a type of 2-sided sword, the navigation map is confusing and unmarked. It took me a while to replay, but I managed, it's not buggy after all.

This achievement is extremely deceiving. Most people assume that all you have to do is get every character to level 9 and you’ll get the achievement. That’s not true. What you really have to do is get every character to level 9 than re-beat the entire game (redo every single mission) with all 7 characters at level 9. I know it’s dumb but that’s how it works. Some people think it’s a glitch but it isn’t.

Where to level for each character:

Inphyy: Fort Wyandeek (explore all areas branching off)

Aspharr: Fort Wyandeek (explore all areas branching off)

Myifee: Pholya Flatlands (when you have to stop the goblins going across the bridge which is the area with the block rate, don’t let the block rate hit 100.. just keep waiting and waiting until you get bored than finish it off)

Dwingvatt: Bastide of Varrgandd (make sure to kill as many guys as you can)

Tyurru: Pholya Flatlands

Klarrann: Pholya Flatlands (not a lot of kills but the orbs received are A LOT and it will save a lot of time instead of Fort Wyandeek)

Vigk Vagk: Pholya Flatlands (there is 4 bosses in this and you gain a lot of experience off them. Don’t use Bastide of Varrgandd even though you receive more orbs, your experience doesn’t add because the bosses drop 3 bonuses XP tombs and you get 12 in total. If you want to save time do Pholya Flatlands).

If you’re having any trouble at all just send me a pm on x360a or go look on the xbox360achievements.org forum board for ninety nine nights and your question might be answered. If you do decide to go to the forum boards first and your question isn’t listed, just message me and I’ll be more than happy to help you.
