How to unlock the Musashi's Way achievement in NINJA BLADE - Definitive Guide

This is quite easy once you've fully upgraded all of your objects (health, weapons), and shouldn't really need any first aid sprays; since your health is restored upon loading a checkpoint.

Once you've completed the 'campaign', simply use the system options and change the game difficulty to 'Hard'. You can then select to play any missions you choose, and in any order. The achievement will pop upon once you've completed all 9 missions.

Note: Make sure an keep track of which levels you've completed on hard, as the game will not do this for you.

QTE can be set to any difficulty you choose, and will not affect the outcome for the achievement.

I think you can actually begin playing the game one hard, no need for completing it first.

Although that would be MUCH more difficult.

I wish it did keep track somehow.I almost replayed 3 levels unnecessarily to get the beat with one sword achievement.

yeah its pretty true, i recommend a playthrough on easy and then hard... yeah u wont get the normal achievement first time around but it beats playing thru it 3x like i did.

So it did not unlock! First I beat the game on easy! Changed the difficulty to HARD and did all the levels. And only unlocked the Good Job achievement for beating the game on Normal or higher.

Checked my settings and it is on Hard for game difficulty and QTE difficulty is set on Normal.

This is so bad. I hope it unlocks when I replay the first level on HARD.
The last level took me 3 hours without any first aid sprays that I wasted on the first difficulty not knowing they don't respawn in the game. 30 hours in I really don't want to start a new save file. This game has been incredible boring from the get go. I just want it to be done.

So I noticed the game asks you if you want to revert to easy after failing too many times. So on at least one level that has happened. Oh great and I don't have any first aids so last level takes about 3 hours to finish for me. Have to replay level 9 again even if I did that on Hard.

So I might have figured out the glitch! The game might revert to easy at any point if you die too many times. So be careful what the message says when reloading checkpoint.

You do not have to end it on mission 9 to get it. Got it after replaying mission 8 and then 9. But no achievement.

Then I did Hard on level 1 and got it after that.

For this achievement, I recommend you play through the campaign/story(to get a feel for it) and upgrade/collect all objects(weapons, health). You can save a few aid sprays and adrenaline pill if necessary but shouldnt need to since your health is restored when loading a checkpoint.

To set the game difficulty, go to system settings and set the difficulty to HARD. The QTE can be set to any difficulty. You can complete the missions on HARD in any order, just remember which ones you did. The achievement pops after completing all the missions on HARD.

GOOD LUCK!

Complete all missions with the difficulty changed to Hard. Do the first eight missions and then Mission Nine. If you have done Mission Nine prior to the rest, in some cases you have to beat it again for the achievement to unlock. Quicktime Event difficulty can be set to normal.
