How to unlock the Master Ninja achievement in NINJA GAIDEN 3 - Definitive Guide

Every Ninja Gaiden is difficult on master ninja difficulty. Be prepared to see the continue screen more than usual. What’s so tough about this difficulty is you’re limited with the Dragon Sword. Enemies will try grab you 75% of the time and block nearly all your attacks. Find out what tactics to use on certain enemies and try to fight one on one. They will come at you in waves and they love attacking you while you’re attacking another enemy. As soon as your health bar turns red, use your ninpo. Complete the game on Master Ninja. This will require an exorbitant amount of patience and will likely be quite frustrating as the game will crank up grab frequency and damage to insane levels. Thankfully, enemy placement and number do not change with a couple minor exceptions (like attack dogs appearing in the first fight), nor do the incredibly generous checkpoints. If you sit down to do this, you will eventually power through. Just don't be afraid to turn it off when it gets frustrating.
