This achievement is story-related and can't be missed.
It will pop when you have defeated Genshin for the THIRD time. He will not have any minions this time, but he now has a wicked Izuna Drop which will pretty much annihilate your lifebar. The strategy for him doesn't really change. Ninpo and Ultimate Techniques are mostly useless here. Stay mid to close distance and keep dashing to get away from him (don't jump). Once he completes a combo or dashes at you unsuccessfully you have a small window to lay down a quick combo (the Scythe's YYY combo works extremely well) and dash away. Just don't get greedy and wait for him to come to you and you should do fine.

You get the scythe after you fight the big bad wolf. I mean whatever weapon you're comfortable with is fine. Scythe was just my personal favorite
