How to unlock the Heroes Never Give Up achievement in NINJA GAIDEN Σ - Definitive Guide

English: This achievement can only be unlocked by playing the Story Mode on Hero Difficulty.
On this mode (which is basically easy mode) you count with an ability called Hero Mode, this ability is automatically activated when your health is red, making you invincible for a period of time.
To unlock this achievement, you need to trigger Hero Mode 100 times.
It is NOT necessary to wait until Hero Mode ends. It only needs to be activated, so you can only trigger it and immediately heal yourself with blue essence or some healing elixir.
NOTE: Ryu and Rachel DO count towards for the progress of the achievement.
Español: Este logro sólo se puede desbloquear jugando el Modo Héroe del modo historia.
En este modo de juego (que básicamente es el modo fácil) cuentas con una habilidad llamada Modo Héroe, dicha habilidad se activa automáticamente cuando tu salud está en rojo, haciéndote invencible por un periodo de tiempo.
Para desbloquear este logro, el Modo Héroe debe ser activado 100 veces.
No es necesario esperar a que termine el tiempo de la habilidad. Con que se active es más que suficiente, por lo que puedes hacer que se active e inmediatamente curarte con esencia azul o con algún elixir de curación.
NOTA: Puedes avanzar el progreso del logro jugando tanto con Ryu como con Rachel.

Who the hell thought making Ninja Dog even easier than it already was would be a good idea - let alone tie a grindy achievement to it?

as early in the game as possible stock up on 10 lesser heals and have as low hp as possible: let an enemy trigger hero mode, use a heal. let em trigger, use a heal. rinse and repeat until you're out. then buy more heals or load your save. This can be done quickly on mission 3 or 4.

This is by far the worst achievement for this game. Serves no purpose other than to waste about 30-40minutes of your time.
New Game -> Hero Mode -> Doppelganger costume to decrease defenses (optional)
Itemrush every chest in Ch1+2 while ignoring any non-mandatory fight.
Purchase Inferno as soon as possible (you should be at around 1k after the horse-fight), get hit whenever you're "trapped" in a fight and spam Inferno once Hero Mode is going.
Once you reach the save-statue in front of Dynamo you should have 10 small and 5 big potions in your inventory. Equip Azure Dragon Helmet to decrease defenses further (Armor of Intelligence decreases HP, but you take less damage and it takes longer to reach the treshold for Hero Mode).
Save, enter Dynamos fight, get hit until the red ring appears, immediately heal, rinse repeat.
Once you're out of potions, quit out to the main-menu, and repeat until you're done. Tracker is saved in the background so no need to finish the fight or reach a save-statue to save progress.

Getting rewarded for playing bad can hardly be called an achievement. But what do you know, TNs B-Team still decided it would be and added this "difficulty" to Smegma1.
