How to unlock the True Ultimate Ninja achievement in NINJA GAIDEN Σ - Definitive Guide
This the achievement for "Collect every other achievement".
This is how I would recommend you go about collecting all the others, broken down by playthrough. Check the Individual Achievements for the solution if you are struggling. This assumes a 4 playthrough completion, with any grinding minimised.
Story Playthrough - Normal:
Cleared The Way of the Ninja
Rookie Scarab Hunter
Ninja Carnage
Cleared the Fiend Hunter
Lead Scarab Hunter
Cleared Tairon Under Alert
Master Scarab Hunter
Ninja Slaughter
Cleared The Caverns
Ninja Massacre
Legendary Scarab Hunter
Thanks for Finding Me!
First Clear
You may also earn, depending on playstyle (especially the amount of ETs and UTs that you use):
Feat of Ultimate Destruction
Projectile Weapons Master
Just Put Me On
Over 10,000,000 Karma
Story Playthrough - Hard:
Dragon Sword Master
Rachel Master
Cleared Hard
Depending on how heavily you use certain weapons and Ninpo, you may also start to earn their Mastery achievements during Hard. If you did not earn Projectile Weapons Master, Feat of Ultimate Destruction and Over 10,000,000 Karma, I would expect them to pop during this playthrough.
Story Playthrough - Very Hard:
Cleared Very Hard
More Mastery for weapons and Ninpo, depending on personal preference. Vigoorian Flail Master should pop somewhere in here, if that is the weapon you choose to use against Ghost Fish.
Story Playthrough - Master Ninja:
Cleared Master Ninja
The Journey to Master Ninja
The Long Journey to Master Ninja
The Really Long Journey to Master Ninja
Thanks for Playing -from Team NINJA
More Mastery for weapons and Ninpo, depending on personal preference. Due to the encouragement for performing UTs on Master Ninja to achieve quick kills and use i-frames, along with the increased amounts of tougher enemies, if you did not yet receive Just Put Me On, it will likely come around in here somewhere.
Mission Mode:
Cleared 2 Trials
Over 50,000,000 Karma (if you did all the Story Mode content first)
Cleared 6 Trials
Cleared 10 Trials
Coin Aficionado
Cleared 14 Trials
Cleared all Trials
Coin Collector
Coin Master
If you want to be as efficient as possible with things, any "X Master" achievements you do not yet have should be the weapons/Ninpo you choose for fighting in Mission Mode, at least on the easier trials, or where you have quite a free choice. You can choose to use whatever you think is best instead, or if you are struggling, but it will probably mean some grinding later.
By the time you get here, there should only be some "X Master" achievements and Heroes Never Give Up. For the latter, start a Hero playthrough, and whenever you enter Hero Mode, kill an enemy to try and get Blue Essence, or use a healing item to immediately cancel it. Mine popped after Chapter 4, which I played through twice.
If you do not yet have Guillotine Throw and Izuna Drop Master, load up the 1st Mission in Mission Mode and perform the required move only against the enemies. If you run out, just reload and play it through again. You will probably need to do this for Guillotine Throw, but not Izuna Drop, as that is extremely useful on Very Hard and Master Ninja and so will probably come naturally.
For clearing up any "X Master" achievements you have left, load either a Save on the top of the Palace Core (for Ninpo) or one at the foot (for weapons). Ninpo must be Level 3 for uses to count (except Fire Wheels), so just spam it, refill at the Team Ninja monlith and repeat until you have the achievements you need. The only Ninpo I personally had to grind was Ice Storm, as Inazuma, Inferno and Fire Wheels I used enough through natural gameplay between Story and Mission Mode to unlock.
For weapons, equip the weapon you still need kills for (for me, this was the Lunar Staff, Dual Katana, War Hammer and Kitetsu) and exploit the respawning group of Ghost Fish at the top of the Stairway to the Imperial Palace for as many kills as you need, then move to the next weapon.
When you pop the last achievement, this also pops straight away and you can enjoy your 1000G and never having to see Unearthed Challenge 4 ever again!

First and foremost, I highly disagree with the current completion time as of writing this (60-80 hours on 7/29/2022). If you've played tons of NG04 or NGB back in the day, I could see it, however if this is your first NG experience, it's more than likely going to be more than that The RNG of the ninja trial Unearthed Challenge phase 4 can bump up your hours quite dramatically, that one alone took me 7 hours on just master ninja.
Popping in one last time for the NGS page here on TA for a few tidbits, as I finished my last ninja trial and got everything done for the game.
Do yourself a massive favor and whittle away at your ninja trials over time. Saving them for last is no doubt going to be a massive pain, as many of them aren't well thought out and annoying, and you don't want to be stuck with the tedious achievement for last (well, you probably will be, since there's tons of ninja trials to do, but at least do over 90% of them by the time you finish everything else). I got a lot of them done by going into the ninja trials to warm up when I started for the day, or if I just wanted to do a chapter or two in the story but still wanted to play, and kept doing trials til my heart's content. Have a goal of doing a few of them before you go into story mode every time you play and it will make a big difference. It's also worthwhile to do them along side your story mode playthroughs, since you will get accessories for both Ryu and Rachel from doing a certain amount. There are plenty of hard ones even on easier difficulties, so don't give up! Even if you are only able to beat the easy ones for the time being, that's still good progress. If you're beating your head against a wall against one trial, leave it for awhile and do a different one, anything to get them done. The master ninja rankings for master ninja difficulty achievement is very hard, but the platinum coins in all trials is even worse.
You will more than likely have to grind the following weapons for achievements: Unlabored Flawlessness/Wooden Sword (UF is a really expensive item in story that you won't get until at least halfway through the story, limited availability in trials), Kitetsu (can't get until chapter 15, some ninja trials have it, but there's usually better weapons for that trial to use), War Hammer (same as the UF, and also this weapon sucks). For the UF and WH grinding, go to chapter 12, kill the beetles down the lift near the 2nd save, go back up, save again. This is your starting point, where you will go back down and kill the beetles in the ambush, and reload your save when you're done. I'm unsure if UT kills count, so I spammed a bunch of wall attacks with the UF and WH and that worked really well. As for the Kitetsu, chapter 18 is the best. Near the stairs down to Tairon, a bunch of ghost fish keep respawning there. Do forward X attacks on them til they all die, go out the door and back in, and keep at it til you get it. If for whatever reason you want to grind the other weapons (the others should come naturally from your story mode playthroughs and trials), the ghost fish here will work for everything (except the Dabilhro, do the beetles like the UF and WH)
Everything else is pretty straightforward, though it's not easy in the slightest. A mixture of skill, perseverance, and luck is required to get everything done for all achievements. There is no way to cheese everything, there is no way to summon help for your fights, and there is no way to brute force the whole way to this achievement. It's ok to feel beaten down and helpless, trust me I've been there on numerous occasions. It's ok to set the game down for awhile and come back later. Many people before me have done everything the game has to offer, so everything is possible to do, you just got to stick with it. I believe in you, and if you ever need tips for something, feel free to DM me. Best of luck to you future master ninjas, I am now going to walk the path of the mentor in NG2.

Knowing some places where you would like to return periodically will help you a lot!!!
By importance:
1. Money box (THIS IS THE FIRST, FASTEST WAY TO PIGGY BANK!!!):
Chapter when you run around Aquaduct (Chapter 12).
Kill everyone first (this will be considered a trap and not an ambush). When you leave, come back immediately. Go downstairs, a couple of steps forward (the bugs appear, but they don’t notice you) and perform Ultimate Techniques. Hit, took the money, up, down, repeat, and so on. The Armlet of Benediction and Holy Gauntlet will also help you.
The first time, save up money, buy everything you need, save some more, then go through an ambush (kill everyone at once). In each subsequent chapter, the beetles appear again. Less than in ambush, but thanks to the method described above, you can save as much money as you want!
2. Monastery annex:
The place where the first ambush for Rachel was held (https://pixs.ru/showimage/Chapter5jp_6047552_9976120.jpg).
It's simple! With each new chapter, don’t forget to look there (if possible) for a couple of newly closed chests!
3. Monastery Again (Monk's Room):
We're talking about a safe. You will only need to open it three times (the code for the safe is in the book on the table nearby).
All the same. After the first time, periodically return to this place in a new chapter!
4. Muramasa (exactly the store in the city, not the statues):
At first, money is tight, but you can “earn some extra money.” When you first enter Muramasa's store, you can hit him exactly ten times. On the eleventh time he will die and game over. For each hit, a little money will fly out of it. This doesn't work in the Rachel chapters. But in the chapters for Ryu (though not in every chapter) this can be repeated.
5. Hayabusa Village:
In the second chapter, when you get the bow, and before you meet the horsemen. There will be a place where there are targets.
Shoot at them, moving away...
