The first boss fight of the game, and it's without having to conquer an Approach to get there. He consists of four phases, each characterized by him getting gradually larger and the arena changing shape.
Phase 1: Hit the planets to knock loose some notes to shoot at his turntable. Avoid any of the rows that have arrows lighting up, as he's going to spin the planets around in that row (this will persist through to the third phase).
Phase 2: The arena will get slightly larger, meaning you have to chase after the planets this time. There may be some transformables that will appear, but with this being your first fight, it won't be much of a damage change. Again, you'll need to knock some planets around to loosen some notes and shoot him with them. Asteroids, when lit up, will follow you until they start giving off a warning flash, meaning you will need to keep running as they'll ascend then fall to where you were.
Phase 3: Ever larger, the battlefield will have some more hazards to it. He will summon a solar ray that rotates around the battlefield, he may sometimes charge the asteroids to bumrush you straightforward, and he'll still use the planets to spin around. He changes his planet attack up to attack from different angles; you can either avoid these by hopefully having your secondary character out of the small row (fluke but it can happen) or by dodge rolling from one of the four squares the row is made up of. There may be some instances you can parry one of the planets if it appears with a purple/pink aura. Attack on the beat within its telegraphed area, or as near as you can get, to bounce it back at him.
Phase 4: For the Normal run, you'll need to Parry planets that're trying to push you back into the black hole, causing damage to the boss. Attack on the beat to send them off. In later modes, you might have to contend with two planets in one string of beats or avoid them as they're unparryable. Once you get the Showstopper prompt, you're done with the fight.

Once you finish the tutorial and prologue to the game, you will arrive at the venue of the first boss, DJ Subatomic Supernova. After you defeat him, you will obtain this trophy.
