How to unlock the School of Hard Rocks achievement in No Straight Roads - Definitive Guide

This achievement is fairly simple and really nothing to worry about. First I would complete the main campaign to get your upgrades and level 3 stickers. Then revisit each of the districts and hard mode will be waiting for you. Just listing to the music and parrying of the drops will get you this one in no time!

After defeating a boss, you can go back to their districts to find a man named Joey. If you talk to Joey, he will challenge you by unlocking HARD difficulty for that boss. Simply defeat the 6 main bosses on HARD for this trophy. HARD difficulty is not bad, especially if you wait towards the endgame to get more upgrades. I suggest having Zuke equipped with the mod “One with the Universe” and Mayday equipped with the mod “Pyurifying Water” so that they can each heal themselves with one part of their special meter. I also suggest getting upgrades like double jump, air dash, max ammo increase, and more combo finishers to make the fights even easier. You will need to defeat all bosses on HARD to obtain a collectible for them anyway.
