How to unlock the E achievement in Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition - Definitive Guide
This achievement is for beating the boss of floor 2.
This guy is super predictable, but a bit of a challenge the first couple of times you face him. He will fly around the room and cycle through two attacks. First, he will fire straight down, causing a small wave attack that will bounce you in the air, and then a horizontal attack that will fire to the either side of him. He will continue this set, predictable attack pattern over and over.
Since you cannot boost a combo on this boss, there is no reason to use your default weapon unless it is all you have. Melee attacks are good, but can be dangerous when trying to move in close. I would prefer sniper rifle (as always for bosses), shotguns, then any other gun you may have.
My strategy is to stay in the bottom left corner. When he does his horizontal attack, stay put. When he does the downward attack, jump and pump him full of lead. If he is too close though, I will face the wall, wait for the attack to come, then roll into the corner. The roll gives you a second on invincibility. It also will prevent the wave attack from shooting you in the air (which almost always leads to you getting him by his follow-up horizontal attack).
It may take some practice to get used to it, but I almost never get hit by this guy anymore. Remember to burn cards (skeleton parts first, if you have any) if you need health.
