Not that this really requires a solution, but I figure I would explain the achievement requirement since the achievement descriptions in this game are very cryptic.
This achievement is unlocked for reaching a score of 10,000.
This should come quite naturally during your play. If you want to expedite the process, you earn a huge combo during the first boss fight by killing off the flying enemies the boss spawns and score a bunch of points at the end of the fight.
