How to unlock the Cats and Dogs achievement in NORCO - Definitive Guide

In Act 1, make sure you DON'T pet the cat in the bookstore. After you finish Catherine's sequence and go back to Kay, you will need to find Lucky's dog which is in front of the bookstore. Go to the gas station to buy dog food, then use it on the dog and Pots will join your party. After this, go back inside the bookstore and click the dog's portrait in the top left, which will launch the cat.

Just to add to this, once you return to Kay, you'll still have to do a few story steps, including the conversations at the tavern and with Duck, before you can talk to Lucky and unlock the option to buy the dog food.

If you miss out on it the first time (like me)

1. Have chapter select enabled

2.select Act 2.3

3. Pots will be in your party

4.Go to world map and travel to Sarpy books

5.Go inside book store

6. Click on Pots card on your team

7. The cat will jump

8. Achievement unlocked.

Just wanted to add that the dog food is part of the storyline early on in act 2, in case anyone was waiting on this one.
