There is one hovering in the middle of the Coaxial arena. There is a ramp very nearby which if you hit correctly you should get the pickup.
The other pickup is much more tricky. It is found on the map Ternion. You will need a speedy car, probably the eel. Follow the track round until you get to a bridge with a airbourn accelerator on the other side. You need to hit the bridge, landing in the airbourne accelerator thingy, and it should send you towards the pickup. This one is very tricky and requires a large amount of luck.
ALTERNATIVELY
By completing supernova mode you unlock ALL the secret cars. This will give you the achievement too.
Eggnog, Clayj, Venom
1. The pickups can ONLY be picked up in Career mode... you cannot pick them up in Freeplay mode.
2. The pickup in Coaxial is best reached using the non-accelerated ramp... approach the ramp from almost the edge of the arena and just go straight at the pickup. If you use the accelerated ramp, it is MUCH more difficult to control your angle and you will find it almost impossible to hit the pickup.
3. The pickup in Ternion is best reached NOT by going through the accelerator that points at the airborne accelerator. Instead, pick a fast car (I used the Eel), start your run from near the exit of the accelerator. Hit the bridge up, and then hit the airborne angled accelerator near its base. This will push you in the direction of the pickup, which is otherwise unreachable. This one is really tricky to get... took me about 15 tries before I hit it.
4. YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE EVENT. If you quit, the new car will not be unlocked. You don't have to win, you just have to finish.
