How to unlock the Faster Than Light achievement in Nowhere Prophet - Definitive Guide

Basically you just need to follow the most direct path through each territory straight to the end and win. This will always be the wider, lower difficulty terrain. Do not backtrack or take any side paths as you don't have a very large margin for error. You should also avoid any choices that cost you days. Not all of these are obvious so you might get a few in a run by accident.

It's also worth noting that this will NOT count if you try it in a custom campaign. I was able to get this in 210 on my first try and 230 and 240 after that so I'm assuming the length of the actual journey is somewhat random.

Solid solution, and good call out about Custom Campaign not unlocking this. 200 starting resources felt too easy somehow. 🙂

Narrowly got this on my first attempt, 16 days to spare but those "overwhelm" tentacle enemies wrecked me down to 1hp on my leader before I landed the last hit. Yikes! 😬

For anyone interested I found this reasonably straightforward with

Leader - Firebrand
Convoy - Wanderers

I did run out of food around 3 nodes before the boss on the 4th map but scraped through.

Got it done with Breaker + Pioneers on Chosen. I prioritized heal nodes for pathing, used luxury items for boss battles, saved a HalluSense for the final battle, and was done in 242 days. No issues with resources.

It might be worth mentioning that time doesn't pass once you're in the crypt, though getting in seems to take 3 days. I think if you get to the Gate by 245 days, you should be good.

You can only get it if you play in the basic campaign mode in custom game mode and do not give daily tasks. If you play on a low difficulty level, then it’s quite easy to get in any game, just go straight from the exit to the location to its end, minimally clearing other locations and trying to never choose options for completing text tasks that require you to “wait” for several days. With this approach, you will be able to complete the game in about 220-230 days.
