How to unlock the Steppenwolf achievement in Nowhere Prophet - Definitive Guide

Hi fellow card-gamers,
Only the "beast" and "drone" card have written their type on the card. For the rest of the factions, you gotta check the symbol behind the text. If you are not sure, which card goes to which faction, just check the picture here on TA next to the achievement, the list bellow , or the the "Rule Book" (available from the main menu in game):

As for the achievement:
Tip 1: make sure to hit the townships and other places where you can recruit new followers. Best way to get the needed type of followers in your deck!
Tip 2: you can sort your convoy by faction and always add the cards of the chosen type. Go to the left bottom card and select “filter settings”, “faction” on the right side. I suggest to build a deck with max 2 factions, so you can progress in 2 achievements at the same time.
Tip 3: you can have up to 24 cards in your deck. You don't need to fill up your deck though. 18 cards for instance is a good reference, since you won't need much more for most fights. Having lesser cards allows you to draw those you actually need.
The game offers you different convoys to start the game with. Each convoy has a different setup but all have a mix of different factions. There is no convoy really standing out for any of these achievements. I spent way too long trying to figure out how to unlock cards that were anything besides "Beasts" and "Drones"
You likely already have used some of these. A Hilltribe follower is simply any card with the icon linked below on the background of the card. It won't say "Hilltribe" on the bottom of the card like the above mentioned factions.
