Big Bandit is the boss fight for 1-3.
They have 2 attacks.
Fires a burst of bullets in one direction where you were standing. Simply walk out of the way or get behind a wall to avoid it.
Bends down and dashes at you. This attack can go through walls. Just walk away from them again.
Basically, the boss is simple and you will kill it many many times on your journey.
An even faster way of fighting the boss/skipping the first world is through a shortcut on 1-1:
Don't kill any enemies, dodge them all and pick up all the map pickups (chests/radiation canister).
This will spawn in Big Bandit.
Killing them should normally spawn in a portal that takes you to 1-? and then all the way to 3-3.
However, at minimum, you will be taken to 2-1 after this stage when doing this (sometimes it glitches).
