Right, so this is quite difficult.
Normal method. The golden nuke/disc gun only appear in Hard mode from 7-2 onwards. You can make it easier by using usual speed up weapon level process by entering the secret areas and using YVs crib or robots passive. This is obviously very hard, so we’ll be using a cheese method instead that’s still quite hard.
First; loop with YV using the crown of guns and get the weapon called “Gun Gun” from his crib once you go ultra. This is easier said than done. Looping with crown of guns requires an adjustment to your playstyle, you really need a high DPS gun to loop with coguns. Use a melee weapon as well throughout Palace so you have full ammo going into Throne with your other weapon.
I recommend mutations Back ammo, scary face and Open Mind (one extra chest in YVs crib).
You may not get the gun gun still, I got it 2/5 times reaching the crib with coguns.
Once you get the weapon, store it in the proto chest at the crown vault.
Okay cool, hard parts done. Time to grind a bit. Load up robot with crown of risk in hard mode. Use golden wrench if you have it, otherwise keep pressing ‘retry’ until a wrench spawns next to you. Carry this with you to the crown vault on 1-2 and kill one of the crown guardians. Now, farm ammo off the bullets and eating the weapons that drop. Keep using the gun gun until one of the golden guns drop, there’s a 1/44 chance so it could take a bit. I had the golden disc spawn after about 10 mins. Leave the vault after you get it and the achievement unlocks
