You can get this and the reject ending in a single play through. After choosing the first ending, wait for the achievement to pop. As soon as it does, force quit your game, continue, then progress with the other ending.

That's exactly what I planned on doing however my achievement never unlocked and I sat through the credits hoping that it would. So basically I get screwed out of two achievements.
