Just adding that you don't need to have 80,000 all at once, it's cumulative through your playthrough

I think this may have to be 80,000 cumulatively earned from battle (or maybe also counting the merchant skill that gives you gold). I sold a bunch of inventory and had over 80k on hand and the achievement wouldn’t pop. I reloaded and continued the story and it popped immediately after a boss battle when I only had 9k on hand. Thumbs up though

I have $80,000 on hand and the achievement didn’t pop.

I hope it turns out like the last guy, and I just need to beat a boss first!
