There are many Sligs that you may not be able to possess because they are on ledges that the possession orb cannot reach, there are no SpooceShrubs available to collect for you to create a possession orb, or there may be an orb surpressor in place that destroys your orb before it can get close to an enemy. That being said, there are still more than enough Sligs to possess to get 200 in one playthrough.

You will want to go for this trophy in Step 3 of the Roadmap, which is the Black Quarma playthrough. This is because for your first playthrough you should have earned I Regrow Nothing and so now can regrow SpooceShrubs as required to make sure you can possess every Slig you see.

The last level to feature Sligs is Flub Fuels Scrub Pens. This level features approximately 27 Sligs, but if you haven’t earned this trophy by the time you start this level then it is best to farm it early in the level if you want to earn it on this playthrough.

As Abe you will find a locked gate that can only be opened by a Slig. Luckily, an armoured one is walking around the corner. You are supposed to possess this Slig, use him to open the gate and then go on a rampage killing 20 other Sligs in the next area (earning Sligicide in the process). If this Slig dies another will respawn around the corner. This respawn is constant, so before you go on your rampage keep possessing and de-possessing the respawning Slig until the trophy pops.
