Using 'Chapter Select' to do this one is fine. Otherwise, it's the first level.
It's also ok to die and respawn, as long as a Slig does not spot you and you survive thorugh it. If a slig spots you, just let yourself get killed.
No need to rescue any mukodons, just go straight to the exit.
