To start the DLC, go to Burntrock. You should see a UFO in between the levels Heavenly Hot Springs and Headliners. Simply select it, and complete the tutorial.
Also, I just want to say from personal experience, the levels in this DLC in terms of difficulty are comparable to Sketchside / Los Vulgas, maybe even a tad more than Los Vulgas.
