How to unlock the Armor Collector achievement in Onimusha: Warlords - Definitive Guide

You will get the gold armour in the trap room where you have to pull the levers with the ninja girl. When you are giving the first choice of 3 levers, pull the far left. It will open the gate, to the chest.
The Ogre armour is the the area with the rope bridge and waterfall after entering the area locked with the decorative sword. Directly behind the water is a number puzzle chest containing the armour.

MISSABLE

You just need to get the two additional armors Samanosuke can wear.

Holy Armor: When you meet Kaede by the second time inside the Abandoned Keep, you two will get imprisoned by some kind of trap. Regaining control, examine the lever in front of you. Game will switch you to control Kaede. Go forward and take the right lever. Back with Samanosuke, grab the left lever. Kaede's turn. Grab the far left Lever. Now, with Samanosuke, grab the "Holy Armor" from the chest by your right.

Great Armor: Inside the Tricky Box #4! In the East Area. After passing through the level 3 green lock, and all the way to the waterfall. Go around the side passage, and enter the alcove on the right to find another Tricky Box (4/6). The answer is down-left, up-right, down-right, down-left and down-right.
