Once you have your first sword, just find an enemy and press Triangle and he will do a especial attack on the enemie, me careful, it does consume your magic.

You’ll get this achievement extremely early into the game, and it will likely be your first. Simply press cn_Y to perform a special attack towards a demon, and if you’ve done enough damage (or if your attack itself does enough damage), the demon will fall and the achievement will pop.

The game has some "Special Attacks" that you can perform. There is plenty of ways and situations to do that but it's not so simple. One and easiest way to do it is block () by the time the demon strike is hitting you, then a small bright will occur so repeatedly press as fast as you can. Doing so, Samanosuke will do a deadly strike, killing the enemies with one hit. It's will happen naturally and by accident, even if you don’t defend the entire game, since you can do a deadly strike without rising guard at all.
