How to unlock the Geared Up achievement in ONRUSH - Definitive Guide

So, chances are that this will be the last achievement you unlock.

Requirements are simple unlock 250 or more items

You unlock 3 items with every box you get from leveling up. And you can spend your money from crashtag as well.

So doing math,
Reaching level 61, and spending all the money i had in the game my tracker was at 82%,

So more likely you will need to be level 80+ or so in order to get this achievement the earliest possible.

Tip: you level up every 10000exp, so in average every 2-3 matches you should see progress, depending the medals you get, so don't worry to grind this if you are still in your way for the superstar.

Doing the campaing will be the simple way, since you'll need to do it anyways,

A boostable way could be with a full lobby of 4v4 and play the take down races... I forgot the name of the gamemode, sorry

May want to add this to the guide: All items you buy in the store count towards this achievement progress. So you can knock out an extra 10-20 items by buying (3000/75 cheapest currently) them after you finish Superstars mode.

I think so, but you are more likely to get better medals vs AI, than other players. (because is more easy).

I forgot to mention daily sales helps to boost this achievement as well. I'm still pending to complete this since I'm focusing on other games

Does the items I buy with Premium credits that I bought from the store count???? I legit spent $75 Aud on 10000 premium creds. I think I have unlocked around 220 - 230 items already (mostly with prem creds.) I am not sure if it counts. I fucking hope it goes.
I am on PS4 but I am sure it is the same for Xbox?

Not sure, but I can confirm duplicated items don't stack

Whenever I buy any of the sale items my tracker doesn't increment. It only goes up when I open a gear crate so I'm pretty sure those don't count unfortunately.

Haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere. If you have a turbo controller, hold down RT and turbo the A button. Pick a race and head to bed, gained 10+ levels overnight.

The average user doesn't have a turbo, so is a minority within a minority of Achievement Hunter.

It does, the difference is that as you need 250 to reach 100%, each time you purchase 1 item you increase a 0.4% that's why sometime you don't see that the marker moved.

This solution will give players a better idea of how much time this game will take. I unlocked this achievement directly after I finished my last challenge for the single player mode. Making it the last achievement I unlocked for the game.

I unlocked it once I reached level 78 on my account and after buying around 25 items using the in game currency for the game. I actually had three extra loot crates when I unlocked it so I would have unlocked around level 75.

For going for this achievement prioritize working on the max superstar achievement. I only played one or two multiplayer games on my way to completely the entire game and given how time consuming the single player campaign is, no need to add any extra time.

Overall strategy work your way to level 70+ unlocking the loot crates along the way and earning some items from the superstar mode challenges.

After you have opened any crates you have (to avoid duplicates) go use your money you earned to buy common items only. They cost 3000 currency rather than 5000 for the rare items or 10000 for legendary items.

Go to Personalise - Tombstones - National Flags
There are 83 National Flags to be unlocked in the game and each cost only 3000 meaning you can just work your way through without accidentally spending money on a rare or legendary item. Upon unlocking the achievement, I only had 34/83 Flags unlocked to give you an idea of the amount of items in the game.

Overall this was the last achievement I unlocked in the game, which took me somewhere between 40-50 hours to complete probably just as an idea of the time commitment for the achievement and the game itself.

Hope the solution helps! Feel free to let me know in the comments of anything I missed or feel free to message me with any questions.

Unobtainable due to Server Closure

(Online)

Note: Patch 2.0 has fixed the issues with this trophy, it is no longer glitched, BUT now with the server closure all Gear items are completely disabled when you're offline, which further locks you out of this trophy.

This is the most time-consuming trophy in the game. You receive gear by opening gear boxes earned by leveling up. You can also purchase gear with in-game currency earned from completing crashtags or daily challenges. Unfortunately there are duplicates in the gear boxes and they only reward a very low amount of currency so this can end up being a grind. I earned the trophy once I reached rank 78. If you are keeping track manually, starting items do not count. There are 80 total starting items (1 outfit, 1 celebration and 2 tricks per character [48], 3 skins per vehicle [24] and 8 tombstones). Thanks to Tabion for the exact count. FaRd1N has also confirmed via Onrush's game director that DLC items (digital deluxe, pre-order, etc) items do not count toward the 250. Keep in mind that you must be connected to PSN to earn player level progression so if you don't have an internet connection, you cannot earn progress on this trophy.

In total you need to have 330 items!
Because 80 items were given to you initially. They don't count
80 +250 = 330 items to get the trophy!

If you have completed all the races and you do not have enough items, you can simply buy them.

Don't forget to spend in-game currency - you'll save some time.

By collecting the maximum number of points required to level up, you are rewarded with a box in the form of a motor on four wheels. By opening these unique boxes, you receive unique items. You can unpack them in the "Gear" section.

Duplicates do not count, you will get 250 items (tags, pilot skins, car skins, motorcycle tricks) by about level 80, also buy the cheapest things for game currency, this will not speed up your progress much.
