If not you can boost this quickly by selecting any level (1-1 was my choice) and rubber band any direction until you die 1000 times (for 1-1 its up into the wall) NOTE: achievement tracking does not update until you win the level so make sure you do so before you timeout at 18 minutes.
Optionally you can rubber band RT to go faster however in practice its not noticeably faster as you already die instantly on re spawn
Velvet
Due to the fast paced nature of this game, there is a high chance that you'll get this trophy naturally before you complete all 90 levels. Crashing includes running into walls, being hit by enemies, being killed by sawblades etc. If it can kill you, it counts. If you don't have this by the time you've earned every other trophy, first off, props to you! Secondly, you can idle the game to get you the remaining crashes needed for the trophy. Start up any level that has a sawblade with unlimited lives. Park your ship next to the sawblade and it'll just keep killing you over and over again. A good level to do this on is 1-8 (make sure you stop next to the rotating blade as the static ones won't always hit you when you respawn). The crashes won't be added to your total until you either restart or complete the level so be sure to hit 
every now and then to quickly restart to make sure the crashes are counted. As soon as your total reaches 1,000, the trophy will unlock.
