How to unlock the Lumberjack achievement in Operencia: The Stolen Sun - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unlocked by gathering 10 firewood. This is a cumulative achievement. You can find firewood loose on the ground or by breaking wooden objects such as barrels and chests.

NOTE: Not all barrels and chests can be broken. If you mouse over them, they will be outlined in yellow and a gather action will be offered.

Is this for gathering 10 and havingb10 ready to use of for using 10.
I currently have 11 in my inventory but no cheevo

It should be gathered only. If you had purchased any wood from the vendor it would not count. You do not need to have all 10 in your inventory at one time. A few of the cheevos are buggy and take some time to pop, like the set item cheevo.

It has not popped for me either just picked up my 10th log and no I have not bought any wood. I am only just beat the queen spider in the great forest.

Also popped for me when I had collected 12...so 'around 10 pieces' is probably more accurate smile

Is there less wood available when you have some of the hard difficulties turned on? When following the walkthrough, that guy's maps show wood in multiple places where there is none in my game.

From what I've seen, there are at least 4 woods in that video that are not present in my current 2x difficulty mode. There are still more than enough to complete the achievement, though.
