How to unlock the Master Thief achievement in Operencia: The Stolen Sun - Definitive Guide

There are 24 locked chest keys total. Each area has either 2 or 3 keys and always the same number of locked chests. You can obtain all keys and open all locked chests in each area during your first visit. No special gear is required that you won’t already have.

The keys are universal, which can make this achievement difficult if you do not plan ahead. I strongly recommend that when you pick up a key in an area that you use it in the same area before leaving.

The images are in the order that you can find them, starting with #1 in Lake of Anna and ending with #24 in the Glass Palace. Each image contains a picture showing where it is visually for picking up and another where it is located on the map. If you are back tracking to find missing keys, having both should help out to find which ones you’ve already picked up.

I didn’t think to save them. I know getting all maps to 100% will show almost all of them on the map. You’ll need to visit the actual area and look at the map before some show up too. Looking at the maps from the campfire doesn’t always show locked chests for some reason.

One I remember not showing up until I found it walking around, even after getting to 100%, is in the great forest. Top left corner outside of the giant cave in the river bed. It also counts as a secret if I remember correctly.

Almost all chests are relatively close to a key though. The one I mentioned above is an exception. It’s pretty far away.

I think there are 25 keys. I find one more in copper forest.

I checked Cooper Forest and have 3 locked chests and 3 chest key

My game is 99.9% broken for this achievement: I have already 100% completed all the maps, found all the secrets, the buried chests, ecc... but I don't have this achievement - it's sitting at ~97%. I think is broken because I don't have any unused key in my inventory or any unopened chest in any maps. I am a very meticulous explorer and I found all the secrets, items, etc. without using any guide or map, so it's really strange that I'm missing both a key and a chest, but I checked the maps posted in the Cartographer achievement (that aren't 100% accurate, I have more chests in my maps), and the keys locations posted here, and I have already found ALL of them. :-/

Hi Gaharoth. I was having the same problem as you. I could only find the chest when I actually teleported to each individual map and checked if I had discovered them. Apparently there is a bug that causes the chest to not show up if you are inspecting a map and not being at a location. Once I teleported to Lake of Anna, voila!, the closed chest was there in the map for me.

I was stuck with one locked chest and no final key, searched everywhere looking at the screenshots... then found it in the Great Forest. At the first camp instead of a glowing blue key there is a bag to search by the campfire. I completely missed it each time I wandered through. Hopefully this helps someone!

the 3rd key in copper forest is located in the south east corner on a machine that is hammering. A little nook you should be able to see on the map. Ty for the photos!

On Reddit /u/forgedbygeeks posted a full 100% map with a legend noting all the hidden levers, dig spots, keys, chests, and anything you would need for this.

Maps are great, but The one in "deep in the copper forest" is missing a key that's sitting on a wall near the campfire by the large tree
