The fastest way I found to complete this is with two controllers:
- select Forge
- select 1 round
- select Annihilate
- select tournament (it should be default)
Start the match and just crash your ship five times. You can also just idle and let gravity kill you over time.
Once a controller gets five 'kills' the tournament will end and +1 will be awarded to the achievement progress.
It will kick you back out to the main menu. Rinse and repeat.
