How to unlock the Cartographer's Protégé achievement in Ori and the Will of the Wisps - Definitive Guide

Lupo is found mostly in secret alcoves throughout the world. You must buy a map of each area to satisfy this achievement.

I'm not finding Lupo on the locations I already talked with him. And I need it, because I refused the purchase and now im stuck without Inkwater Marsh map.

You do NOT need to buy the collectibles maps from Lupo in town for this (and they are a waste of time because completing Hand to Hand (Trade sequence quest) reveals EVERYTHING on the maps including collectibles).

Just find Lupo in each of the game's 9 zones and purchase the area's map from him. In the video below there is a pinned comment with timestamps for everything, so you can just skip to the 9 lupo locations of that is all you're after.

I dont think this one is bugged. I just popped it on an alt tag a few days ago.

Also if like me you have one map missing and don't know which one, chances are you've been near him and he's on the map. When you've bought the map he leaves.

I thought it was bugged but I was missing one Lupo. Just take a llok to the map and find a Lupo icon.

I'm at 99% completion right now and don't see any Lupo icons on the map so I'd say its safe to assume this is one of the broken ones

Edit: Got it. It was the one in Windswept Wastes

My collectibles video has timestamps as a pinned comment if you wanna check his 9 locations just in case. I didnt have any problems unlocking this one on a dummy account after the day 1 update.

Lupo is a cartographer appearing in nine areas in the game, selling maps of these areas to Ori for a small price.

  1. Inkwater Marsh
  2. Kwolok's Hollow
  3. Midnight Burrows
  4. The Wellspring
  5. Baur's Reach
  6. Luma Pools
  7. Mouldwood Depths
  8. Windswept Wastes
  9. Willow's End

Once a map is purchased from Lupo, the game will immediately register it and Lupo will disappear from that area. For other times, Lupo resides in his home in Wellspring Glades, selling three maps which respectively reveal Spirit Shards, Energy Cells, and Life Cells. These three maps are NOT required for this achievement.
