Out of Space: Couch Edition

To win a game you need to power up 6 rooms by putting a battery in the electric point in a room. You typically need to throw a bucket of water over it in order to clean it. (Disclaimer: Don't try this at home kids)

Winning a game is all about task management. If you're trying this solo you get a pet dog that barks and stuns the alien that you happen to cross paths with. In order to keep the dog happy and ready to deal with alien scum you need to make sure he's well fed, as well as keeping your own hunger at bay. Luckily he eats the same pumpkins that you do, so feed him whenever he gets into his dog bed.

You'll also need to ferry loads of buckets of water around to clean any dirty doors in rooms you've managed to clean. This prevents the pustules growing on them and releasing aliens into your clean rooms.

If you clean a room with a vent, this will repeatedly get dirty over time, so keep an eye on it at all times once that room is clean. I didn't need to but any extras from the shop, and only bought batteries.

Make sure you deploy all electrical goods and furniture. These are random but can drastically change the difficulty you face. A shower is useful for a personal hygiene and a bed is good for a quick rest. Remember that sleeping in a bed rests you faster than falling asleep on the floor. Other useful items include a fridge for storing food, a robot cleaner for mopping floors automatically, sofas for resting.

Finally I'd better mention that recycling the black bags is the only way I've found so far to earn extra cash and therefore is essential for generating the funds needed to the 5 batteries (you start with the first one) needed to finish.

Juggle your tiredness, hunger and dirt chores and you should easily beat the small maps.
