You can do this with a single profile. Select a 2 player game then add a guest with a second controller. Set the ship size to small and turn off zen mode. Zen mode disables some achievements, not sure if it does with this one. You will need to complete the level (win) for it to unlock.

Add that you have to win the match for this to count! Losing or quiting out doesn't unlock the achievement!
