Out of Space: Couch Edition

The recycler is furniture that allows you to dispose of items for $$$. It's also useful for disposing of things in general, such as aliens, so the $$$ is a bonus in that case. There is no electricity requirement for it, so feel free to pack it up and move it anywhere close to your current area of operations as you clean up your homeship.

For this specific achievement, you will need to recycle 250 items. This is cumulative over all your games, regardless of map size, so you can also work on it on a small map, compared to the 'Unusual Way' challenges. You may also be able to do this in Zen mode, but I strongly recommend never doing Zen if you are working on achievements.

You can recycle trash bags (created when mopping up goo), food (raw or cooked, whole or partially-eaten), aliens (once stunned), energy cells (careful of this), and furniture boxes. Since you can recycle food, a sure-fire way to work towards this goal is to grind up pumpkins. You can even clean up all but the last room of a ship, move the pumpkin garden and a source of water close to the final room, and clean up alien eggs and goo that appears as you keep smashing pumpkins towards this achievement. Buy more pumpkin gardens from the store if you want to speed this up, as well.

Upon completing a round after recycling that many items, you will also unlock the Cleaner Bot in the store in future rounds.
