How to unlock the Surviving the Onslaught achievement in Outbreak: Lost Hope - Definitive Guide

First off, run to the opposite side of the map to grap the pouch (you will definitely need it to be able to carry more ammos and weapons in your inventory). There's also a Magnum nearby, and a Shotgun in the car on the right side near the campfire in the middle of the map. You'll find the SMG and the Grenade Launcher in the corners of the map near the starting point.

There's not much to be said, but:

- save your Magnum / Shotgun / Grenade launcher ammos for later, when stronger enemies begin to spawn. Watch out though, because the Grenade Launcher can hurt you bad if you're not far enough from the explosion. Use it from the distance, preferably on slow enemies.

- avoid getting stuck between objects and monster at all costs. Go grab your things when you're absolutely sure that enemies cannot surround you.

Tip: the game is very buggy, and sometimes the enemies just stay on the ground without moving (but they're alive). When no more enemies were spawning, I had to look for one of them laying on the ground in flames, and kill it to actually end the Onslaught.

When you press the back button it tells you your progress on the bottom left side.

Also, here are some tips I made:
Just take it slow, find everything on the map and bring it back to the chest at the very beginning so you can come back to it later whenever you need anything.
For me personally, only 4 enemies spawned at once so after they all spawned I just went in a big circle around an object and trained them while shooting.
Exhaust all of your handgun ammo first!
Whenever I heard a reptile scream I immediately dropped everything and switched to my shotgun and waited for his ass to run up to me so I could shoot him in the face. They're the fastest enemy and since you're on a limited supply you cannot risk getting hit and bleeding. Bleeding has a chance to occur whenever you are hit and is random.
If you need a lot of health, then combing painkillers and ointment together will create a remedy. This will heal most, if not all of your health. If you really want to you can combine this with the coagulant to create a First Aid Kit; But you don't need to.

Doing this, I didn't even use the grenade launcher at all and only used the magnum on the last enemy! I also only healed once, which wasn't even needed.

It’s about 60-70 enemies total.

For what ever reason I find the Xbox one version to be so much harder I did the series x stack my first go and keep dying on my last 15 kill on the Xbox one version 🙄doesn’t help that the sprint on the Xbox one vertion doesn’t get you very far compared to the series x stack

xxxIsaiahxxx ’s comment about only 4 enemies spawning at a time is a game changer. Take advantage and pick up everything on the map before taking down any enemies and you can take on onslaught on your own terms.

I also managed to get 2 basic zombies trapped between the 2 picnic tables over by the Grenade Launcher, so only had to deal with 2 at a time for the duration, then mopped them up at the end.
