How to unlock the Miasma achievement in Outbreak - Definitive Guide
Miasma requires you to find a CD, a Floppy, and a Crank, the RE Trifecta. I would suggest Kass, as she is immune to poison, which will be handy on this level, otherwise, Quise for inventory, or Mason for resistance.
Drop extra ammo off in the main lobby when you go to get a new piece for the elevator, keeping a handgun, ammo, and ideally a loaded shotgun or healing item (can do both, but you'll have to use the healing item to pick up the elevator piece).
There is no horde attack at the end, so dont worry about dropping stuff at the elevator like I do.
Tips
- You can reload faster by going into your inventory (), move to the ammo and press , then pressing on the proper gun.
- Pressing will auto aim at enemies that are in your line of sight, use that when entering areas to see if enemies are off screen.
- You can always drop an item and pick it back up. Great for healing items and reloading guns with scarce ammo (magnums and launchers).
Here's a video, which shows my first go at this level. I was lucky and was able to go from one point to the next fairly smoothly, but did get careless on a few occasions. I avoid the big power weapons since ammo isn't abundant with them. - You can reload faster by going into your inventory (), move to the ammo and press , then pressing on the proper gun.
